Mr. Sutton was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Sutton received his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2000, where he was awarded a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for excellence in legal research and writing.

After graduation, Mr. Sutton served as a judicial law clerk for the Presiding Judge of Cumberland County, New Jersey, Rushton H. Ridgway. He then worked as an attorney for the law firms of Stark & Stark and Fox Rothschild, where he concentrated his practice in Real Estate, Zoning and Land Use, and Litigation. Also prior to joining Vlasac & Shmaruk he worked as legal in-house council for the largest privately held residential builder in the Delaware Valley, the David Cutler Group. Some of Mr. Sutton’s experience includes:

• personal injury
• securing zoning, subdivision, and land development approvals for commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use projects
• assisting developers, builders, companies and property owners in the acquisition, sale, financing, and leasing of real estate
• forming planned community and condominium associations
• preparing conveyance documents, including deeds, easements, and declarations
• forming corporations, general and limited partnerships, and limited liability companies
• preparing applications to Municipal Boards for conditional uses, special exceptions, variances and interpretations
• securing rezonings - both map and text amendments
• facilitating the expansions of existing commercial and industrial buildings
• handling all facets of various types of litigation matters

Mr. Sutton currently serves as the managing partner of the Bucks County office of Vlasac & Shmaruk. He is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
